She — a girl from Silesia (the region in south of Poland), just starting her journey at PwC — meets him, a Frenchman with Polish roots, a heart for Poland, and a soul for its mountains Bieszczady.

One day, “just as friends”, she mentioned she wanted to visit the Bieszczady mountains. He invited her since he’d be there at the same time. They weren’t a couple yet, but fate (or maybe something more) was already writing a story where, in those very mountains, they would one day say “I do.”

From that moment, everything fell into place naturally. Their first date? Not a movie, not dinner… a museum (because nothing sparks excitement quite like art and an audio guide).

Since then — countless backpacking trips, endless laughter, and small mishaps still make them laugh up to today. Like the time Philippe said after work, “Wait, I’ll grab the car and give you a ride,” only to call from the parking lot and admit he’d forgotten he took the bus that morning. They call it their Mr. Bean moments — a small slice of everyday chaos.
